Forms a loose shrub with long arching stems. Bright red tubular flowers are suspended along each stem during summer. Plant in semi-shade, acid soil. E.1x1m.
Non-astringent-can be picked when ripe and eaten like an apple-good flavour. Tree makes excellent specimen for foliage in autumn as well as desirable fruit.
